A Fine Art Wedding Editorial at Domaine de Penthes
August 16, 2026 · 6 min de lecture
Geneva, Domaine de Penthes — August 2026
There are projects one carries for a long time before seeing them come to life. This wedding editorial at Domaine de Penthes, in Geneva, is one of them: the idea of a day entirely devoted to elegance — a gown, a collector's car, the light of late summer over the park, and that restraint which, to my eye, defines true luxury. A look back, in pictures.
Domaine de Penthes, a Geneva jewel. On the heights of Pregny-Chambésy, the Domaine de Penthes overlooks Lake Geneva and the Alps. Its Pavillon Gallatin — shuttered façade, old stone, wooded grounds — offers a setting at once heritage and intimate, just minutes from the centre of Geneva. It was here, in the softness of an August afternoon, that everything began.

A 1957 Ford Thunderbird as a signature. At the heart of the scene, a collector's Ford Thunderbird, cream and chrome, lent by The Collector's Garage. Convertible, timeless in line, it sets the mood at once: that of a hushed cinema, where every detail counts. Parked before the pavilion, it becomes a character in its own right.
The bride, in lace. The gown — a piece lent by Maison Lynia — traces the silhouette with a studied simplicity: fine lace, a delicate back, a fluid train. Facing her, the groom in a black tuxedo and bow tie. Nothing superfluous. On the lawn, the lake and the hills behind them, the couple composes those black-and-white images that, I believe, will not age.
"Luxury, in wedding photography, is not about accumulation. It is about rightness: a light, a gesture, a well-placed silence."

A wedding party like a film scene. Around the couple, a party of guests in evening dress and pale parasols crosses the park. The tones answer one another — dark tuxedos, deep gowns, luminous whites. There is movement, laughter, that energy one does not stage and simply catches at the right moment.
The houses that make the difference. An exceptional wedding is built with exceptional artisans. The jeweller Silvio Rodrigues created the rings and the fine jewellery; the Domaine de la Vigne Blanche, in Cologny, offered its Cologny Brut cuvée; and the Libellule patisserie, in Nyon, imagined the wedding cake. So many local savoir-faire gathered around a single standard.

The light of Lake Geneva. As the afternoon wore on, the light grew softer, more golden — that late-day light over the lake which has become my signature. It is what gives the images their particular grain, between warmth and restraint, and what ties each of my series together, from the shores of Geneva to the Italian lakes.
This editorial says everything about the way I work: a clear artistic direction, partners chosen with care, and an editorial photography that seeks the right emotion rather than effect. With ten years of experience serving couples and prestige houses, I accompany each project in both English and French, from location scouting to final delivery. Every wedding collection is tailored to your project.
